Infrared Sauna Policies & Procedures
For your safety and to ensure that you get the most out of your sauna experience, please follow these policies and procedures whilst using the Infrared Sauna.
- Strictly no food or drinks are permitted in the sauna. Please do not take the water provided or your own water bottle into the sauna.
- Body & Balm is a smoke free environment, please refrain from smoking.
- Do not use the sauna if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- No nudity – swimmers, underwear or a wrap must be worn inside and outside the sauna at all times.
- Body & Balm is a quiet space. Please turn your mobile phone on silent and refrain from using it for phone calls.
- Use of electronics including phones, tablets and ear pods in the sauna is not recommended. If you wish to listen to something during your session we can link your phone to the sauna via Bluetooth. Body & Balm accepts no responsibility for damage done to electronic devices taken into the sauna.
- Always sit on the towel provided, do not sit directly on the wooden bench seat.
- Do not cover the floor heater with anything including towels/clothing. The vents need to be fully exposed to enable heat to escape.
- Do not place a rolled up towel behind your back when resting against the heater cover. This can affect the operation of the heater and may result in damage.
- Do not hang clothes or towels over the sauna heater panels.
- Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult and are recommended to use the sauna for a limited time of 15 minutes.
